Syllabus - Restoration Ecology
The Course:
Restoration Ecology is an interdisciplinary course that is open to seniors and graduate students from science, landscape architecture, and ecological design majors at Washington State University. The course uses an interdisciplinary team approach to study and apply the emerging principles of restoration ecology on lands of Washington State University, the University of Idaho, and our surrounding community, including cooperating private landowners. Note: Graduate students desiring the full 3 course credits (preferred approach) should also register for 1 credit of Natrs 519, line#
Field-based Restoration Ecology:
The course is designed primarily a hands-on, field-based course. Students are responsible for discussing provided technical materials on restoration ecology, assembling a personal Manual of Restoration Ecology, and working effectively in a team environment to conduct one or more restoration projects.
